Helicopter Activities in Victoria Falls

About 6 years ago the issue of helicopter noise in Vic Falls was raised by stakeholders. Stakeholders at that time agreed that all helicopters should be moved to a new common user helipad site so that we avoid the situation of too many scattered sites all over town. A site at the Chamabondo area near the quarry pit was identified.

HICP and Environment Africa embarks on a Harare Greening Project

The Harare Inner-City Partnership (HICP) and Environment Africa (EA) are mobilizing partners in preparation for an urban greening project for Harare that aims to green and beautify Harare thereby contributing to climate change mitigation efforts. The project was mooted at the HICP stakeholders meeting in September 2008 when business leaders suggested that something needed to be done about the loss of trees in particular and vegetation in general in Harare.
