Major highlights
Kadoma Ranch Hotel adopted part of main street and Robert Mugabe Rd in the city of Kadoma. Bins were lined along the street that previously did not have a single bin. The hotel will work with council to ensure garbage collection from the street and road repairs.

Bulawayo rainbow donated bins which they placed across the city to curb waste dumping and aid the waste collection process by the local council

Delta corporation is in the process of erecting pilot Collect a Can cages at shopping centres to address what has emerged to be the worst litter-Beverage cans.

Afdis,Windmill and Seedco handed over litter bins to the Nyabira community including service departments like clinics . AFDIS commited to collect waste from Nybira and properly dispose of it on a weekly basis until such a time when there is capacity to do so locally.

Participation by  environmentally critical businesses in the Clean Up eg the Oil/Fuel Industry and mining industry opened avenues for further engagement in areas of cleaner production and other industrial environmental programmes with those companies

Creation of linkages between environmental stewardship and small to medium scale enterprising added value to waste management

Inspiring the participation of women and youth in Environmental activities, issues, debates and environmentally friendly income generating activities

Establishment of linkages between communities and the corporate sector and the possibility of them playing roles at different levels in the recycling chain eg communities do collection and industry processing.

Shifted mindsets through Environmental Education and awareness

Eradication of invasive species in Wedza

Tree Planting in Victoria Falls

Corporates downing their tools and sending more than 90% of their staff to clear dumpsites depicted environmental stewardship of the corporates.
