Promoting Sustainable Litter Management In Rural Areas |

 The issue of waste management has become a hot topic in most urban cities in recent years. Whist efforts to sensitize communities on sustainable litter management have mostly been directed towards urban communities it has been observed that not enough effort is being made to educate the rural folk on the same concept. In view of this, Environment Africa Northern Branch teamed up with the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) Zvimba District to mobilize rural communities to engage proper methods of waste disposal. The two organizations launched an anti-litter campaign at Murombedzi Growth Point aimed at sensitizing stakeholders and communities in sustainable management of litter.
